ONLINE TRAINING

Online training has become an extremely popular way of accessing training and exercise. At QOL our aim is to deliver innovative, interactive, and targeted online coaching.

How Does Online Personal Training Work?

There can be different formats for working online but one to one training is still the best formula to produce results for an individual. This is typically a more efficient way to identify and target specific strength and weaknesses.  One of the benefits of working online can be the capacity to guarantee a true one to one environment.

While some coaches may deliver training via programme setting and review of clients recorded sessions, we belief that real-time interaction delivers more effective feedback and accelerates the training process and rate of development.  The use of video review can be a useful additional tool to supervise client progress but there is no substitute for direct coaching.

A screening process and assessment lays the foundations for training and development of a training programme.

In practice online training differs little from face-to-face training and is dependent on effective coaching, cueing and communication.  We will help you in constructing your workout environment so that we can observe your movement from appropriate angles and ensure you are moving well and exercising with great technique.

By focusing on your movement and exercise technique we will help you to become more in tune with your body and understand the best route to progression.

What Are The Benefits of Online Personal Training?

You may be surprised at how many benefits there are to training online.  The ease with which you can record, and review sessions would be one.

You can also repeat a recorded workout with relevant coaching points before you return for your next session.

You choose your own environment and time of training. Minimise distraction, maximise focus with no need for sharing of equipment and no background noise. You can keep up training while on a work trip or holiday.

What Kind of People Can Benefit from Online Personal Training?

Online training can produce an intimacy which can be hard to replicate in a crowded gym. If you are someone who prefers the comfort of your own space to workout but still wants exceptional results, then online personal training might be for you. If your work predominantly from home, then online training might be a good fit for you ensuring that you can maximise your opportunities to exercise and avoid wasting unnecessary time on travel.

What Else Can You Offer?

We can also offer tailored packages (enquire here) that allow a supported training experience which includes a smaller amount of personal training underpinned with specific focused programming and resources geared to allow you to train independently for significantly better results.

We will never send you a programme without seeing you move first. All packages are based on an initial online or face to face training session to allow screening, assessment, and an introduction to coaching.

Will I Need Equipment?

The answer is it depends. Some people will feel comfortable with a small amount of equipment and some people prefer a lot. We will guide you through choosing equipment so that whatever you use is relevant to your goals and needs.

Sometimes we work with people that have access to their own complete gym space and sometimes it may be just some space in your lounge or living room. The beauty of personal training is that the solution can always be tailored to you. We are happy to help and give advice with equipment choices and purchases whatever your exercise space and budget.
